After daily prayers, we went
outside in the sunshine for some Vitamin D and fresh air, did some light yoga
to stretch out our body.
●
Back in class, In Groups of 3 we
discussed the following questions, and afterwards, as a class came up these answers
–
○
Who is god? God is creator, maintainer and
destroyer. God is immortal, caring,
trustworthy. God depends on faith.
○
Where is God? God is everywhere, in Knowledge- knows
everything, solves problems. God is where we cannot see also. God is power, is
present at all times.
○
Why do we write letters? To communicate feelings, contact with god,
organize our thoughts, vent our concerns and constraints, get rid of
ideas.
○
Why do we go to temples? To
worship god, to see him, to get positive energy and chant.

Based on their answers above, we introduced
them to Vedantic terms such as Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent. God is beyond space and time (past, present,
future). Children came up with thoughts
that if God is everywhere then “I” am also GOD!
We agreed that there were, and that each one was a like flowers in
plant.. different but from same source.. J

Children wrote their letter to God
and turned it in to us. We promised not read them and give it back to them at
the end of the year so see if how their learning about god has progressed.

We now have a Sri Krishna Solution
Box, where we can put our questions, thoughts, ideas, frustrations, concerns
etc. …you get the idea.. Sri Krishna and Gurudev will help teachers address these
in class discussion or brainstorming sessions.
For unopened/confidential letters we will have a shredding ceremony and
offer it to GOD and Gurudev. Here is a

they missed class.

Make sure children bring their
bag, binder, Hrdi Bhavayami, a notebook and a pencil/pen every Sunday.
●
Please have them write their name
on everything.
