Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 - Verse 17
He who neither rejoices nor hates, nor grieves, nor desires, who has renounced good and evil, is full of devotion is dear to me.
To deal with the opposite choices that we are subjected to we need to be aware of our expectations and get over them
He who is the same to foe and friend, in honor and dishonor, who is the same in hot and cold and in pleasure in pain, who is free from attachment.
By not having attachments in relationships, we can maintain a balance in our interactions with people
To whom criticism and praise are equal, who is silent and content with anything, who considers no place as home, steady minded and full of devotion that man is dear to me.
A steady minded person can accept all situations and emotions and still be content and do good for the world.
